Yoga is more than an exercise, it is about connecting with the earth and respecting it. Sometimes the only way you can do this is by using natural products as part of your practice. This means using bamboo or cork yoga mats and blocks rather than using the usual plastic products. Not only are you being kinder to the earth, but they can also connect deeper with your yoga practice.

Relaxing your mind

During yoga, you are expected to empty your mind and relax as you breathe deeply. This is easier said than done but using CBD products can help to relax you before, during and after your session. Relaxing the mind can be very difficult, especially if you are new to yoga. Sometimes we need a little extra help to get to nirvana.

When it comes to yoga, you need to wear something that is comfy yet skin tight. Trust us here, the last thing that you need is to be in downward dog and your t-shirt flies up and shows your breasts off to the rest of the class. There is an amazing range of yoga clothes that you can pick up from anywhere. However, your best bet is to pick something up that is made from natural fibers to go with your bamboo or cork yoga mat.



During yoga, you will be expected to have your feet out in the room. So, you have to make sure that your feet are looking their best. You might have to spend some time buffing those heels and moisturizing your skin so your feet look presentable but it will be worth it. Especially when your head is stretching down to your toes, you don’t need horrible feet in your face.

Practice at home

If you have an amazing teacher who works with you, you should do yourself a favor and work at your poses at home. If you know what the poses are, you can work at home on them so the next time you attend a class, you can lean into them a lot more. Yoga is an exercise that you should do every day as it has huge health benefits. You will also get more out of your sessions with your teacher when you practice daily at home too.

Yoga is more than a load of different poses, it is a complex system that you can study. There is a history to learn, poses and texts to study, and movements to be memorized. Yoga can be an intense subject to study but you can get a lot more out of it this way. As you start to learn more about it, you will understand how it affects your body.
